The Arf-Society will release a limited edition two-CD set of the legendary Grandmothers reunion concert from 28 July 2002. The price is just 15 Euros, with all proceeds going towards helping Jimmy Carl Black pay his medical bills. Pre-order now from press@arf-society.de to ensure you get your copy of this special set in time for Christmas. The album features Don Preston, Roy Estrada, Bob Harris, Jimmy Carl Black, Napoleon Murphy Brock, Bunk Gardner, André Cholmondeley and Glenn Leonard.

    Yes, Barry, a sweet playlist. Being a fan of the Grandmothers, I would’ve liked to have seen a few original tunes as well, but given the audience, I’m not entirely surprised, though. And, yes, I’ve pre-ordered a copy, if that’s what sending the Arf Society an email is about. I mean, given the need (or Jimmy’s), you’d think they’d make it easier to order this online?

    Haven’t even had a confirmation email at this point. I’m quite willing to cut the Arf Society some slack for now, but they will have to get back to us some time pretty soon, lest we tumble into GZ type blurbtopia… Yo! Communicate, press@arf-society.de!
