   An interesting comparison between Mick Jagger and FZ. For one, Mick is forever a teenager copying black r ‘n b music for white consumption, while FZ incorporated all that he loved about it into his own unique style and vision.

   Dr. Demento–stiffest interviewer ever?!
   He makes Tom Snyder look “comfortable.”
   (I guess because this was being filmed for tv.)

   I still recall listening to his syndicated radio program as a kiddie and hearing classics such as Fish Heads, My Dead Dog Rover, and of course, My Name Is Larry, for the very first time. ah, the salad days…
