Thanks for the link and nice words. I am not a big Zappa fan as I don’t know a lot of his music really. I liked “Bongo Fury” with Captain Beefheart though. Where should I start?

Ah, Alex, if you liked Bongo Fury you should continue exploring his music, no doubt. I’d say “One Size Fits All” can follow, then “Joe’s Garage”, or maybe any of the “You Can’t Do That on Stage Anymore” series…Another great live album is “THe Best Band You Never Heard in Your Life”. You can find quickly excellent samples (and an entire album at month) in The Chrome Dinette. Enjoy!

    Hi Alex,
I would suggest you start with what most consider “classics”: “Hot Rats”, “Roxy & Elsewhere”, “Overnite Sensation/One Size Fits All”, “Apostrophe” and yes, “Joe’s Garage”. Sharleena’s right also in that you can find loads of music over at The Chrome Dinette free to download…

Yes, but what about Lather and Burnt Weeny Sandwich? Perfect for the young sophisticate. And let us not forget the early MOI (Freak Out, We’re Only In It For The Money and Absolutely Free) for the sheer roller coaster ride.
