While I’m babbling away about menstruation sites, ZZ Top and cancer-free tobacco, BossK at The Zappa Patio posts some interesting Zappa-related links, too good not to mention them to you: one, two, three, four.
Oh, and I wanted to link to Alanis Morrissette—erh— Diva Zappa. Just once!

…an aging fan calls the local rock radio station using the cell phone (handsfree, of course) from his late model Toyota Vendetta as he cruises the strip. His one word message, “HOPEFULLY”…the dj hears a Heart track playing in the background……
Now I know to look for the ’86 version CD of WOIIFTM if I want to hear all of the censored comments and the recorder on Harry You’re a Beast. And someone who agrees with me about the solo on Let’s Move To Cleveland on DHBIM (and a reviewer at that). He was a reviewer for this mag, but it also sounds like he was a fan, a knowlegable fan. Good reading. Thanks to Bossk(R) and to you, Barry.
I was getting in to this reviewer, when I read this: “Between the original Mothers and the Flo & Eddie edition, Zappa assembled a 21-piece big band for a series of sessions that resulted in Wazoo, Waka/Jawaka, and some as-yet unreleased material.”
I hate it when critics can’t (or won’t) do their homework…
