More info on the chart can be found in this article. Scroll down and you’ll see the an American view on the subject, by Dr Dan Higgins: The main thing about all the fucking Europeans hating each other is that it just doesn’t make any fucking sense… :-)
This inarticulate fratboy sure says
FUCK
a lot, doesn’t he? What’s the point? I guess he was unable to fill the box with any original thoughts. It’s the internet; it’s inevitable…
Indeed, Bob.
The overuse of the world “fuck” in the article made me think it is completely made up, because that is so american. I mean: look at the source; the main site. “The eXile”, Moscow based Alternative Newspaper. These guys are criticizing europeans AND americans as well. In a rather childish way -just because i wouldn’t call it satiric way. The chart itself is pretty funny (belgians only thinks “bad beer” about their neighbours? :-) and they seems to have “a problem” with europeans “Should America, and the rest of the world, listen? What is Europe’s lesson to humanity? What example have they set for the rest of us?”
I believe Dr Higgins is a doctor as I may be :-) Dont’cha think?
Right you are, Doctor.
The article could actually be real. That is, it does remind me of a few former colleagues who did the “international rotation” thing and the minute they were an ocean or two away from mommy and daddy started bitching about the rest of the world – no air conditioning, no microwave oven, tiny cups of coffee – scheesh!
I’m off the sauce now, but given the quality of the beers I’ve enjoyed in Belgium, I agree with this Flemish view of the world – made up or otherwise! That’s the best part of the chart!
