I have never heard a guitar so persistantly irritating and flatulent as Santana’s in his latest single “The Game of Love”. Why he has to keep noodling away over the vocals from start to finish is beyond me.

I’ve heard all the disc on the radio the other day. Santana is making the same he did the last 25 years…Is just more of the same…
Yes, it is unfortunate. The AC/DC syndrome is not pretty. He has a formula that works – I mean, in a financial way. He sells lots of records. He’s been a legend for many moons, so what the hey… Santana could just ride on past glories, but he keeps on. That is a positive aspect, in my humble opinion. However, he could work out a few new licks.
