“I’m neutral in this race but I’m for freedom of speech, which means people should be able to assemble and speak without being shouted down,” says Al Franken who, previously, had emerged from the crowd at a Dean rally and charged one male protester, grabbing him with a bear hug from behind and slamming him onto the floor. Aaah, free speech! I could tell a few stories…

Thanks for the link! I heard AF interviewed on the radio about this yesterday. He downplayed the whole incident and added the author of the article had previously written two articles about AF which were later corrected/ retracted. I meant to look for this today, and you have saved me a step. Franken’s comments included reflections on his high school wrestling career, learning how to immobilize a loud-mouth protesting jerk from watching the cops at anti-war protests during college and how “body-slam” was not actually a move he would picture himself applying. There was no mention of the U.S. Constitution, Nazis or anal hygiene during the interview.
Jamaar, wat zegt gij daar nu allemaal ( sorry for the cruddy language).
Da’s hier toch Amerika niet, hé.
Barry, I saw on the forum that you banned a young man calling himself “Thing-Fish24.”
I do not support this.
This is censorship.
Hey Al! Love your work!
Naw, Thing-Fish24 wasn’t banned, he was surgically removed, much like any other parasitic growth would (and should) be.
Sometimes, ya have to do what’s best for the body, no matter what kind of affections you have for the parasitic growth…
