Correct me if I’m wrong but I think tracks 11-15 are from ??-Mar 1969, Hartford Ballroom, Hartford, CT . Anybody confirm ??
Haven’t had a chance to download the critter yet myself, believe it or not. Erhm… Gilles?
I don’t know… maybe.
audio quality seems equal.
Acording to Roman, from the zappa.es list:
“(Los temas 11 a 15) son todos del pirata _We Are The Mothers And This Is What We Sound Like_:
11. Baked-Bean Boogie
En realidad el corte conocido como “This Is What We Sound Like”, del
mencionado pirata, un solo de guitarra (parece que de Lowell George) y
más cosas, de fecha sin identificar, c. 1968-69.
12. Right There
Aparece allí como “Variations On A Theme From Run Home Slow” (lo cual
es cierto). También aparece casi entero en el _Mystery Disc_ como
“Skweezit Skweezit Skweezit”.
13. Didja Get Any Onya?
En realidad, “The Jelly”, aunque en la edición en CD de _Weasels
Ripped My Flesh_ aparece esta misma versión como parte de “Didja Get
Any Onya?”
14. Igor’s Boogie
Del concierto en el Royal Festival Hall de Londres en 1968, quedó
fuera de _Ahead Of Their Time_.
15. King Kong
También de Londres, aunque esto sí que aparece en el disco oficial.
Translated:
“Ive heard them, and the tracks belong to the boot
_We Are The Mothers And This Is What We Sound Like_:
11. Baked-Bean Boogie
In fact, is the cut known as “This Is What We Sound Like”, from said boot; a guitar solo (seems to be from Lowell George) and more stuff, unidentified date, c. 1968-69.
12. Right There
Appears there as “Variations On A Theme From Run Home Slow” (which is true). It also appears almost entirely in the _Mystery Disc_ as “Skweezit Skweezit Skweezit”.
13. Didja Get Any Onya?
In fact, “The Jelly”, although in the CD edition of _Weasels
Ripped My Flesh_ this same version appears as a part of “Didja Get Any Onya?”
14. Igor’s Boogie
From the Royal Festival Hall of London concert in 1968, it was left out of _Ahead Of Their Time_.
15. King Kong
Also from London, although this appears in the disc.
(thanks Roman!)
Hey, Thanks for the details, Sharleena !!
And bilingual on top of that … :-)
You are welcome! But the thanks have to go to Roman, who had the info. I’m just the messenger, and the bilingual indian of the group…
