At The Gas Station

A short film based on audio from Lumpy Gravy (see also). Proof that the music on this album is as crispy fresh and relevant as it was at the time of release…

Well, nice idea, but I expected more. This way its only the exact “video-copy” of the audio material. Would have been more exciting with less connected pictures, associations, etc.

  2. Well, I was actually contemplating doing another in the same fashion, but with images I had drawn…but I’m still iffy about it because it might ruin the nifty-ness of this one. The thing I really felt when I made this (in reply to Balint’s disassociation) is that I had listened to it and listened to it and over and over and over and over and over, and after a while, everything was normal….which slightly distrubed me…it was like, oh…ummm $2.71 an hour isnt that bad! and having a kid is pretty miserable, and there are girls who tear up cars. I just wanted to lay out that this whole thing is normal; He wasnt really rambling about nothingness, this could have actually happend to someone.

Also if I had done disassociation, a trans-fish wouldnt have been so danm funny.

Thanks for blogging this, and keep up the good work, your site’s really effin awesome. questions/comments: livindead@gmail.com
