Prussian Blue

Cutesy thirteen-year-old twins Lamb and Lynx Gaede have one album out, another on the way, a music video, and lots of fans.
So what? Hang on:

“We’re proud of being white, we want to keep being white,” said Lynx. “We want our people to stay white … we don’t want to just be, you know, a big muddle. We just want to preserve our race.”

Yes: 13 and they know how to nasty spread racial hate. Songs like “Sacrifice” — a tribute to Nazi Rudolf Hess, Hitler’s deputy Fuhrer — praise Hess as a “man of peace who wouldn’t give up.”

Kids today…

    From CJR Daily:

“After L and L are shown dancing around a swastika on their kitchen floor, McFadden presses on:

McFADDEN: And what’s your opinion on Hitler?

LAMB: I think that he had … he wanted to preserve his base.

McFADDEN: He had 6 million Jews executed.

LAMB: I think that’s an exaggeration.

    McFADDEN: You do.

    LAMB: Yes.

LYNX: I hardly believe there are even that many Jews alive back then.

McFADDEN: Is Hitler someone you admire or someone you don’t admire? … You think he was a great man?

LYNX: Yeah, I think he did a lot — he had a lot of good ideas.”

This is only proximately about race. The target can be anything (as it was in Hitler’s case, eg gay people). It’s an American (well, a HUMAN) Tradition: scapegoating. I don’t mind sounding a little like Zappa here…if ‘Prussian Blue’ sounds very ‘fringe’ and bizzare, consider the political career of G. W. Bush: what would it have been without scapegoating, most definitely including the racial kind (AAA-RABS)? He’s weaker now, and will continue to get even weaker. But, when he was flashing in the pan? Ugly religious and race hatred. Thanks, George!

    Watch the Nazis run your town;
Then go home, and check yourself…’
