NYC 31/10/74 (2)

Today is the first day I overslept in a South-American country. With that interesting fact out of the way, here is, as promised, part two of NYC 31/10/74.
Oh, and we’ll be leaving for Brazil tomorrow, so don’t expect much updates from me in the mean time! :)

Well, what happens if Barry crosses another border?… Maybe the release of Trance Fusion will be announced?

This is the one I’ve been waiting for!!! The only FZ show I ever saw (Yeah, I know, but I saw the light too late…one of my regrets is all the times I could’ve seen Frank and didn’t).
Anyway, Lance was a hoot…they did everything but but strip him on stage as I recall, and he was absolutely clueless……not that I hsve s problem with cluelessness, that being my normal state of understanding of everything….

    THANX

Should we send an email alerting the ZFT from the custom office? maybe that’d help…
    Kisses to everyone!!

  4. bernard says:

No problem, it’s easier than you think it is, Bar.

Just buy some music , the music from Nord Este of Brazil is very, very good.

    Why?

Because they’re able to combine both melody ( Europe) and rythm( Africa).

  5. bernard says:

Does it happen to be allowed to add one element?

    Nordeste = foró.

Foró is about music from very poor people.

Their question is : how to make 1. an accordeon ( ” ne lichtervelde”), 2. a .. triangle, 3. a voice make sound like … OK?

    Results are astonishing.

  6. bernard says:

    Compare it with Italian food.

    Ingredients : pasta + sauce.

    Largely enough.

  7. Keith says:

I’m from Brazil (Brasil) and here we do have some great stuff, but also a lot of shit, and inside the “forró” style it’s pretty hard to find some good stuff(actually the style if full of comercial bands)…but if you want some good brazilian music you should try bossa nova or baião…(baião is actually just like forró, but better and not “strictly commercial”)
And hey, where exactly on brazil are you going to stay?
If you need any guiding around here just tell me(yeah, I know, it’s a little late, but at least it’s something).
