Is this how we’ll be making music, 20 years from now?

The reactable, is a multi-user electronic music instrument with a tabletop tangible user interface. Several simultaneous performers share complete control over the instrument by moving physical objects on a luminous table surface.

    I’ve been thinking about it for a little bit, and for the most part, this just seems like a user friendly way to make those weird tape sounds that Uncle Frank had been making for years. However I could see it going big in the Europe club scene.

    That last section is similar to Basement Muic #1’s overall tone and timbre. So we’ve gone back to 1970s sounds on a table from 2070?

    Looks hella nifty-keen, yet sounds like any generic synth from post-1980… would save on soundcheck/set-up time, yet makes the performer look like a dweeb … hmm, colour me wishy-washy.
