Recipient of the 2003 Surround Pioneer Award: “Zappa is being honored for his forward-thinking and for the extensive work he did in 5.1-channel surround’s predecessor, Quad. Attendees at the event will be treated to Zappa’s recording reproduced in surround, as well as tribute performance by his son, Dweezil.”
