This venue should ring a bell with those of you who like the Petit Wazoo line-up. During the late show, an audience member yelled out “Shit on stage!”. Here’s both the early & late show from that day — available for one week, as always.

Frikkin’ awesome. Just absofrikkinlutely awesome.
Thanks Barry. You are a fun person. :-)
But: last time you mentioned that Imaginary Diseases had just arrived to your headquarters, it’s my duty to present you that the united wish of the Zappa-community of the Web to have your opinion about the Imaginary Diseases CD (alap = as long as possible). :-) Hey, I’m (we are) curious!!!!
(Bonus question: is Steve Vai’s sleve notes available anywhere on the net?)
Lol Balint, I knew someone would ask sooner or later! I’m too tired right now to give you the ALAP version but in short:
• I’m quite fond of this release, I think it’s one of the better things to have come from the ZFT
• the playing, as was mentioned by one of the reviewers over at the Imaginary Diseases page, is rather loose, more “jam like” than the tight arrangements we’ve come to know (and love) Uncle Frank for — but personally that doesn’t bother me.
On a scale of 1 to 10? A 7.
Worderful show!!!!!
I am a huge fan of this period…
is it possible to have a multi session of this Grand/Petit wazoo orchestra era ????
Many thanks for all
Cheers
