and still there are people(obviously more lacking intelligence than the man himself) who think this pice of shit is a good leader.

    To paraphrase:

“I’m not european, but there’s a whole lots of times I wish I could say I’m not American!”

  2. gabe says:

    “-i wadn’t kidding!”

    he jokes
    idiots laugh
    people die
these are times we live in
why can’t he just be honest and say:” Fuck the 4th amendment!”
    anyone remembers Alice and Humpty-Dumpty?
    there’s an excerpt:

`I don’t know what you mean by “glory”,’ Alice said.

Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. `Of course you don’t — till I tell you. I meant “there’s a nice knock-down argument for you!”‘

`But “glory” doesn’t mean “a nice knock-down argument”,’ Alice objected.

`When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, `it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’

`The question is,’ said Alice, `whether you can make words mean so many different things.’

`The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, `which is to be master — that’s all.’

Stay tuned. There is a serious political storm brewing in the US. Bush is at 29% approval rating in the newest poll – which is Nixon-ish. I hate, as Frank might say, to sound optimistic – and ‘optimistic’ might be the wrong word anyway, considering all the horrible damage this jackass has done already – but we might be looking at some Watergate/Nixon-type action here. A lot of republicans are going to go to jail, and some will probably be impeached or resign. Bush is actually worse than Nixon, and may pay the same price.

Like I said, a lot of damage has been done already, so it’s not exactly Jubilee, but….

  4. Bob's Daily Quote says:

Is this mis-filed? Should be under “Dummy Up Videoclip”.

  5. jonnybutter says:

Yeah, Barry, I saw that too! As TT mentions in his commentary to those graphs, Bush’s bad numbers are what they are without any investigations or oversight by congress in 5 years! Nixon had a hostile congress.

Again, no Jubilee here, but it could be worse; we here in the ‘states are – collectively speaking – not entirely ‘wrapped tight’, since we *probably* elected this ass in ’04, but I do think Americans are a little less bovine than they were in the 60s and 70s. It took 10 years for a scant majority of people to get mad about the Vietnam war, and it took a hostile press and congress to bring down Nixon. We have neither hostile press nor congress now, and Iraq is the main reason for Bush’s decline.

29%! Sincerely Bush, we mean it!

Sorry to go off on American-centric stuff at such length, but not only is my country getting fucked up by these people, but they are also causing a lot of mayhem elsewhere..

We’ve known for some time that Dubya is a complete wazzock. But look on the bright side; at least students are allowed to ask awkward questions and we are allowed to see ‘The President’ making a mess of answering it.

  7. danny says:

History will prove that Bush is the worst president we have had in the last 100 years. I am embarrassed, as an American, that the world hates us because of this buffoon.
Look, I certainly don’t have information about the question asked of him, but I would like to be able to rely on our leader for at least having some idea of the intricacies involved in this stupid war. I think maybe Frank may have had an effect on his presidential run after all.

  8. abe says:

oh yes Dickie is such an asshole.
i just hafta imagine, how that asshole ever managed to get in?????
oh yeah, the majority voted him in….or did they? and if big brother actually is watching, im only talking about nixon.

  9. gabe says:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, SHALL NOT BE VIOLATED, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

ooops! can i talk about this?

  13. jim says:

One Kanuck’s POV: y’might wanna consider that th’ reason he looks all weird & acts so ET-ish is because Monsieur Dubya actually IS Nixon – animatronically revived by PIXAR & rarin’ t’bomb anything in his sights – given how many of his depraved henchpersons are hardcore straight-up oldskuel Dickoids: Wolfowitz, Cheney, Poindexter ( get back on Felix The Cat where you belong! ) & who knows how many more … noone’s mentioned the truly phenomenal wave of 9/11 adulation this fellah had 2 piss away 2 arrive @ his current cesspool of popular loathing ( i recall – heh heh heh – no such hero-worship of Nixon @ any point WHATSOEVER in his reign ) … pleasepleaseplease PLEASE write/e-mail/fax/phone the relevant parties so’s 2 fulfill my treasured fantasy of seeing this grinning malevolent inbreed become the 1st Yanqui Presidente 2 leave office w/ a jacket over his head & some pretty little bracelets ’round his killing paws, via a nice shiny paddy-wagon … if y’did that 4 us —

maybe we’d even take back Celine Dion.
