Fantastic archival footage…Van Vliet’s music was the only kind that ever got me evicted…my landlord just couldn’t dig “Electricity.” Thanks for posting this.

    Great documentary.

Jimmy Carl Black takes a few swipes at Frank.
I wonder if anyone would know who he was if
not for his association with Zappa?

I thought this was an awesome documentary. Loved seeing Frank. I remember the guy that was saying when Don and Frank had last worked together that they bumped heads seeing they both were perfectionists. I was wondering if Frank and Don had made amends and continued their friendship after that. I would think Don would have been pretty shook up with Frank’s passing if not.. Anyway that you could find out?
Rock and Roll on your website. LOVE IT! I never missed a Frank Zappa concert from the early 70’s on. He brought alot of happiness in my life. I have some pictures I had taken of him (when it was cool to bring a camera to a concert) that I will cherish forever. I think it is AWESOME that Dweezil is following his Dad’s foot steps.. Please continue on with all your good work. LONG LIVE FRANK!! :)

That indeed is a great documentary. Great to have Peel narrate the thing. All the luminaries in that are great!!! John French deserves another round of applause and Jan . . . . Sadly tho there is not enough, I thought of Don’s wordplay and painting: the story of what happened but not enuf of the playful nature of the guy, imo.
Sunshine, it seems to be widely understood that Frank and Don got to talk before Frank’s death, I don’t have the link on me to prove it.
Thanx fer pointing the way mods :)
