Dweez On ZPZ

Dweezil’s new post on the ZPZ Tour lineup:

I’ve noticed that there seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding the lineup of this year’s tour. I would love to clarify things for all of you.

…and he continues:

I am extremely excited to be able to present some new songs to you this year aided by the talents of our special guest vocalist Ray White. (…) Later in the year we may even have an international reunion with Steve Vai and Terry Bozzio but that has yet to be confirmed. I’ll keep you posted on the status of that as well as any other additions to our lineup.

Off Topic: According to the Zappateers forum, “The Weasel Music” acetate (first mentioned at KUR on May 7) is seeded. Unfortunately I am not yet a registered Zappateer. Those of you who are may be interested, though.

According to the online ticketing page for the London Shepherds Bush Empire gig, Howie Kaylan & Mark Vollman are guests…

BTW, not only are they charging a ‘booking fee’ per ticket they are also demanding a ‘transaction fee’ per order. What a rip off!

Great to hear that Ray White is joining this year’s ZPZ Tour.
Last year we had the “dynamic” Napoleon Murphy Brock.
I met Napoleon (very cool) at a “Ed Palmero Big Band” gig in
NYC back in December ‘06. Napoleon told me he just signed
up for 100 more shows. So what happened?
Brock, Bozzio & Vai have a way stealing a show.
Maybe Dweezil wants to keep the spotlight on the music, not the musicians.
    Just a thought.

    P. S. Flo & Eddie would be awesome!
