If it makes things easier for you, I done did it…
(I would like to think that the super secret inner circle need not comply – yet, I’d hate to miss out on any changes to the handshake, or any updates to the SSIC KUR decoder ring.)

  2. urbangraffito says:

Make sure you look both ways for traffic, Barry, before preparing to make that U-turn: don’t want Dr. Sharleena and yourself to get sideswiped by the ZpZ tour bus mid-turn….

  3. Hugh says:

Hopefully you’re not making that U-turn in New Jersey. There’s a cop on every block to help you on your pay . . . I mean way!

  4. urbangraffito says:

There’s something definitely going on upstairs (I can hear some mother wailing and a whole lot of scraping of chairs…)

  5. Roland says:

A highly dangerous form of U-turn is the “bootleg turn,” allegedly originated during Prohibition when a vehicle carrying a load of illegal alcohol might need to make a fast turn when confronted by a roadblock, and would need to change direction as quickly as possible.

    ;-)

  6. joe cronin says:

“Make a JazzNoise U Turn Here”

Joe Cronin here, Voice of Cheese winner #1 and whenever I’m composing my next masterwork I take all the U Turns I can stand.

“It’s all boloney, so slice me some”

  7. urbangraffito says:

    I’ll have what he’s having…

  8. bernard says:

    Let’s be haughty. For once.

Let’s turn the world ( no U turn involved here) into one song:

  9. bernard says:

    Old geniuses just die.

    Last week :
    – Jim Jones ( from amongst others Pere Ubu)
    – Teo Macero ( producer).

We’re in for the new thing.

  13. bernard says:

Why not those people from Sweden?

    Music from 1 appartment & 6 drummers?

  15. Roland says:

It was the call of workers who organized; women who reached for the ballot; a President who chose the moon as our new frontier; and a King who took us to the mountaintop and pointed the way to the Promised Land… YES WE CAN.

    DUMB ALL OVER …

  16. bernard says:

And it was a Bernard ( Clervaux), who created the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cistercian . The White Monks.

My God, Roland, we’re both from the Middle Ages.

Indeed the greatest Belgian composer ( I mean it, I do) is Roland Di Lasso ( Renaissance). Just google around, it’s faboulous music. And – just listen closely- it’s full of humour. For instance one of his masterpieces is “Prophetia Sybillarum “. It’s in latin. The first sentence just means ” And now we start singing”.

  17. Roland says:

    Imagine me any you – I do … ;-)

  18. bernard says:

Ok, Here’s some Velvet Underground ” madness”.

    1. Where’s Lou Reed right now? I spoke with him on a plane Brussels – Strasbourg a cuople of years ago.

    1963 – http://classicshowbiz.blogspot.com/2008/03/ive-got-secret-with-guests-john-cale.html

  20. I thought Cale was related to the Cabbage Patch family in Lichenstein…
