A Swede, or for that matter an American or an Australian, may indulge in the use of four-letter words without attracting much attention at home. Many Dutchmen would, however, be seriously offended just by having to listen to some of the more vulgar Dutch curses, and would not even dream of using words and expressions that would appear rather harmless to many Swedes or Americans.”
Hmm… I’d have to disagree. I frequently find myself using such terms as da’s van mijn kloten or wat is die Marlène de Wouters toch een ongelofelijk kutwijf.
