Preliminary favorites, after just one first listen: Filthy Habits, Black Napkins/Advance Romance, Chunga’s Revenge/Zoot Allures. The guitar chops on this release are, it has been said before, absolutely and utterly mesmerizing. I love this line-up! Proof that, besides Chester Thompson & Ainsley Dunbar, Terry Bozzio was/is probably FZ’s best drummer. And indeed: Andre Lewis’ keyboard playing has been underrated. And what about Nappy! Singing his lungs out, the way only he can (uh, well you know what I mean, lol). Excellent Vaulternative release… I do not regret the $45,95 one bit.
